Winter Soup

This is the best way to fight fever and cold. It’s also called “Kadha” in Indian culture. This blend of spices will arouse your inner senses and help you fight any kind of infection in the body

Ingredients

  • Ghee – 1tbsp
  • Cloves – 2
  • Ginger – 1 tbsp grated
  • Basil leaves – 4-5
  • water – 2 cups
  • Black pepper – 1/2 tbsp

 

Method

  1. Heat 1 tbsp ghee in a pan and add cloves, ginger, black pepper and basil leaves in the ghee and saute it for 5 minutes
  2. Add 2 cups of water and let it simmer for 20 minutes
  3. Strain it into a cup and drink hot
